Kenneth Binmoeller, MD is among the most published researchers and key opinion leaders in the fields of gastroenterology and endoscopy, having authored more than 300 research papers, articles and books.  An accomplished entrepreneur, Dr. Binmoeller has made meaningful contributions to medicine through his past device inventions in use around the world today.  In 2015, Boston Scientific acquired for $75 million his prior company, Xlumena, which developed minimally-invasive devices for Endoscopic Ultrasound guided transluminal drainage of targeted gastrointestinal tract tissues.  Dr. Binmoeller is the former Director of Endoscopy at University of California - San Diego, Director of Endoscopy for California Medical Center in San Francisco, and Venture Partner at Broadline Capital.  Dr. Binmoeller explains the science behind EndoSphere's technology in his keynote presentation at an international medical conference:
